E Hula Mai `Oe
(Dance over here)

Dance over here, sweetheart
Stay here with me
Your fingers are so beautiful
We should . . . make small talk.

Dance over here, cherished flower
Stay here with me
You are like a beautiful bird
We should . . . kiss.

Dance over here, sweetheart
Stay close to me
I love you
We should . . . go somewhere else.

This new hula was written for the millions of fans who have watched a hula dancer and had these thoughts. Keith wrote the lyrics, and Agnes Kimura, Japan's top slack-key guitarist and leading Japanese singer of Hawaiian songs, wrote the melody. It was first recorded on Agnes' "In The Hawaiian Style" CD, her first release recorded IN Hawai`i. The song has already been choreographed by several prominent kumu hula and used in performances and competion.
