"Close Your Eyes (Haugen's Lullaby)" was the first lullaby written by Keith Haugen. It is still one of his favorite songs. It was recorded by Carmen on the "Lullaby" tape in 1988, a product that included popular lullabies from all over the world, sung by Carmen to the simple piano accompaniment of daughter-in-law Nora Oyama-Haugen. It was intended to lull babies to sleep, and it works.
